2009 Laying season

January 1, 2009
posted by Cindy

We will have Peahens, Pheasants, and Wild Rio Grand Turkeys laying this year.
They will all start laying as the weather warms up. They have started laying as early as mid January. Or as late as mid March.
The laying season will go on until it gets too hot, sometime in June or July. The dates can be different every year. The 2008 season started late due to cold weather. The first egg was laid in March our first eggs normally hatch around March 17.
